This should be the official Suggestion-Thread
(Confirmed - Denied)
[this post will be updated]

• Adding -condebug automatically via RegEdit (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Valve\Steam\Apps\<GameId>\LaunchOptions)
• Adding new Weapon prop_physics_multiplayer (exploding Barrels that can kill people)
• • More Informations in the GameStats:
- Top 5 weapons (depending on how many Kills and what K/D they have...I'll check for an algorithm later)

- Most damage given/taken
• Ranking System: Stats will be uploaded to the Server and the Player can get a Ranking for his current Weapon Skill//Total Skill.
• OptionsMenu (Button 3) where you can set som Options (for example "Always use this Name:,AutoToogleStats: On/Off,...)
• Server Information. A Server can be pinged via UDP to retrieve all the needed Data.[/list]

as far as i know there are no exploding barrels in counter strike.

but if this mod goes to half life 2 deathmatch then it will be counted the same as getting killed by the gravety gun, i think.

top 5 players would not be a good idea. go to CSS and start a private server and add bots... its THAT easy to cheat.
same with cs16 just go and download the bots.

There are exploding Barrels

But only in some FunMaps...e.g. aim_advance

What happens when you get hit by thoose barrels? does it count as a person kills you? or does it count as a suicide thingie?

As a kill

I already told this Fairchild (well..most of the things)

That's why he should add it as a weapon...If you get killed, there will be the Suicide Symbol with both names and +1 Frag for the Person who shot the barrel

Any other Suggestions/Ideas?

yup it has been confirmed! I just played and killed myself and a bot with an exploding barrel, the same ones in half life 2

[EDIT] Features can be suggested in the bug tracker software as well

Something like a "Congratz"-Splashscreen for 10^x kills would be nice..Like when you have 1000 Kills it will show a nice SplashScreen or if you have 100(1000,...) Kills with a weapon

Some sort of "Status" (depending on your KD)...if it's higher then 10 = Cheater, 1 = normal, 5 = ProGamer, .5 = noob etc ;D

It still leaves some marks, like an entry on the LCD Control Panel and god knows where else.
That's why I underlined the complete.

after restarting that should go away, also the app does not tough the registry so yes that is complete

the first post is perfect, i want to add it all, have you been able to login to the mantis bug tracker to see if it is worth using for suggestions? i cant right now, i am at work :lol:
