LCD SCREEN-INFO OVERLAPPINGI RECENTLY CHANGED OVER TO A 19" WIDESCREEN FLAT SCREEN MONITOR. IN DOING SO MY LCD SCREEN DISPLAYS MY STATS AS IF THE FONT IS TWO BIG. THE INFORMATION OVERLAPS EACH OTHER AND I CAN NO LONGER READ MY STATS. I'VE TRIED UNINSTALLING AND RE INSTALLING. CAN ANYONE HELP????? THANKS
That can't be the result of switching to a bigger Screen.
I also switched to a 19" TFT from a 17". And you should learn to be patient and write with small letters... The problems could be: Wrong Font - Make sure you have the echvoice.ttf in your font-dir. ClearType - Make sure it's disabled. Some Applets seem to have Problems displaying the Font on the LCD when ClearType is turned on. Greetz, FaNtA
Echovoice comes with his own Font which it installs in the Font-Dir (normally C:\Windows\Fonts). It's called Echovoice.ttf.
If it isn't there, you can download it here and extract it in your Fonts-Dir. If that still doesn't work, it could be that ClearType is enabled. To disable it 1. Right click on the desktop and select Properties. 2. Select the Appearance tab and press the Effects... button. 3. Click the checkbox next to the words "Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts" and select Standart from the dropdown field. 4. Finally, close the Effects dialog by clicking OK and click Apply to complete the process. Please inform us if one of those work for you (I guess it's only a Font-Problem). Greetz, FaNtA
Alright.
Thanks for the reply. Here's where we're at. I checked the Properties. It is checked next to "fade Effect" and " Standard". Every box is checked with the exception of "Use Large Icons"........So I'm thinking that is all good. When I searched the fonts in C:/WINDOWS\Fonts I only found echovoice (TrueType). I clicked on it and the only option I could select was the "done button"..........Hope this helps us get closer to a resolution.
nope it has to do with the dpi settings, you probly have it set to 120, the app was written for 96, i hope this helps --FAIRCHILD--
