CLR Error: 8004005

Postby ToR on Fri May 04, 2007 4:12 pm

Extracted the files, ran the exe and I get an error message:

CLR Error: 80004005.
The program will now terminate

I have the latest G15 Drivers installed along with .net framework 2.0

I also get the same error message for your other products.

i have seen this before, the first person was running the app in windows 98 compatibility mode and the second person had to uninstall the .net framework and reinstall.

Also make sure you use windows update to get all the latest .net framework updates.

When I try to uninstall .net framework 2.0 I get this:

Maybe a corrupt/confused installation of the .net framework?

Any suggestions?

unfortunately your right, your .net is corrupt, and i have no idea where to start... if you find the answer somewhere else you you please post it here

i recommend you solve this issue right away, lots of new applications are using the .net platform and so it wouldn't be just echovoice not working in the future

sorry about that, hope you can solve it ;)

I used this Microsoft program - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=47598 to uninstall .NET Framework.

After re-installing it works fine :)

Thanks for your help.
